More About Me
I am a dedicated social services and behavioral health professional with 20+ years of progressive experience in youth advocacy, mental health, juvenile justice, and community-based services. Throughout my career, I have held a range of impactful roles—including Behavioral Consultant, Program Director, Therapist, and Probation Officer—each allowing me to shape and deliver trauma-informed care while supervising multidisciplinary teams and developing individualized treatment plans.

My expertise spans direct service, crisis intervention, staff training, program oversight, and court advocacy. I bring a proven ability to lead programs, collaborate with families, schools, and agencies, and drive meaningful outcomes for both youth and adults. Known for my compassionate and client-centered approach, I am deeply committed to empowering individuals and strengthening communities.

My professional journey is grounded in a strong work ethic developed early in life. I began working at 14 and entered the retail industry at 16, where I unknowingly began cultivating the relational and communication skills that would become essential in my behavioral health career. That early exposure to customer service taught me how to connect with others—skills that have since become the cornerstone of my approach to social work and mental health services.

I remain deeply committed to empowering individuals, uplifting communities, and creating spaces where people feel seen, heard, and supported. As I continue to grow in my career, I am passionate about using my experience to drive equity, build strong systems of care, and mentor the next generation of changemakers in social services and behavioral health.

When I'm not helping clients, I'm a proud mom spending time with my son, family and friends, or out for a long walk with my “fur baby”. At least once a year I attend a yoga retreat to reflect and reset. I believe in personal growth and "self-care," and I bring that same balanced, positive energy to my work.

Sincerely,
